We are looking for an experienced Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead the opening of a new specialist home supporting children with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Children’s Home Manager
• Lead the Ofsted registration process and maintain full regulatory compliance
• Establish the home including policies, procedures and Statement of Purpose
• Recruit, lead and develop a high performing staff team
• Deliver person centred care that supports wellbeing, independence and positive outcomes
• Work closely with families, local authorities, education and health professionals
• Manage safeguarding, staffing, budgets and quality assurance
Requirements
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or above
• Minimum three years experience as a Registered Children’s Home Manager in a Children’s home manager job
• Strong experience supporting children with learning disabilities, autism and SEN
• Excellent knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Home Regulations
Experience opening or registering a new home would be highly beneficial. Additionally, previous Children’s home manager job experience will be an advantage.
