Delphi Care Solutions Supports LinCA Workforce Conference in Lincoln

Delphi Care Solutions stand at the LinCA Workforce Conference in Lincoln

Today, Delphi Care Solutions is at the LinCA Workforce Conference in Lincoln, supporting a day focused on recruitment, retention, workforce planning and leadership across adult social care.

The conference, “Supporting our Greatest Asset: Today and Tomorrow”, is taking place at Windmill Farm and brings together Registered Managers, care providers and sector partners from across Lincolnshire.

As proud partners of the Lincolnshire Care Association (LinCA), we are pleased to be supporting the event and the conversations taking place around the workforce challenges facing providers today.

Supporting our greatest asset: people

Strong care services rely on strong teams. Today’s LinCA Workforce Conference focuses on how providers can recruit, retain, plan for and support the people responsible for delivering and leading care.

Supporting the Lincolnshire Care Sector

The LinCA Workforce Conference brings together Registered Managers, care providers, sector professionals and partners from across Lincolnshire.

The theme for this year’s conference, “Supporting our Greatest Asset: Today and Tomorrow”, reflects the importance of developing a workforce that can meet both current and future challenges across adult social care.

For many providers, workforce pressures are closely connected.

Recruitment difficulties can place additional pressure on existing teams. Retention challenges can affect continuity and stability. Leadership gaps can create further operational demands, while good workforce planning becomes increasingly important as services grow and change.

Events such as today’s conference provide an opportunity for providers to share experiences, hear different perspectives and explore practical approaches to these challenges.

Four Key Workforce Priorities

Today’s discussions are focused around several areas that directly affect Registered Managers and care organisations.

Recruitment

Finding people with the right skills, values and experience remains a major priority for care providers, particularly when recruiting management and specialist roles.

Retention

Retaining experienced colleagues can support continuity, team stability and the transfer of knowledge across a service.

Workforce planning

Understanding the skills, leadership and capacity a service will need in the future can help providers prepare for growth, vacancies and changing operational requirements.

Leadership

Registered Managers and senior leaders play an important role in creating stable teams, maintaining oversight and supporting consistent care delivery.

Meet the Delphi Team at LinCA

Representing Delphi Care Solutions today are Sophie Lawrence, Registrations & Compliance Manager for Ofsted Projects, and Alexander Ainger, Partnership Executive.

Sophie brings practical experience of supporting regulated services with registration, compliance and operational readiness.

Alexander works closely with organisations and partners across the care sector, helping to build relationships and understand the challenges providers are facing.

If you are attending the conference today, come and find Sophie and Alexander for a conversation about the workforce pressures your organisation is experiencing and where Delphi may be able to provide additional support.

Proud Partners of the Lincolnshire Care Association

Delphi Care Solutions is proud to partner with the Lincolnshire Care Association.

Working with regional care associations helps us stay connected with providers, Registered Managers and professionals working directly within the sector.

These partnerships also give us an opportunity to listen to the issues organisations are experiencing and understand where additional expertise, capacity or practical support may be valuable.

Today’s Workforce Conference is a strong example of that collaboration, bringing together organisations from across Lincolnshire around a shared focus on the people who make care services possible.

How Workforce Pressures Affect Care Services

Workforce pressures do not always exist independently of wider operational challenges.

For example, a Registered Manager vacancy may create additional pressure on existing leadership. A growing service may require additional management capacity. Workforce instability can also make it more difficult to maintain consistency, governance and improvement activity.

Delphi works with care organisations across these different situations, providing practical support based on the provider’s circumstances and priorities.

Our support includes:

  • Care-sector recruitment support
  • Interim management and leadership continuity
  • Mock CQC inspections and inspection readiness
  • Quality audits and governance reviews
  • CQC compliance and regulatory support
  • Turnaround and service improvement
  • Operational consultancy
  • Ongoing compliance support

Our role is to provide experienced additional capacity where it is needed, while working alongside the provider’s existing leadership and teams.

Supporting Care Providers Today and Tomorrow

We are delighted to be part of today’s LinCA Workforce Conference and to have the opportunity to meet Registered Managers, providers and other professionals from across the Lincolnshire care community.

The people working within care services are fundamental to quality, continuity and the experience of those receiving support.

Supporting those people requires more than recruitment alone. It also requires strong leadership, thoughtful workforce planning, opportunities for development and practical support when organisations face additional pressure.

We look forward to continuing our partnership with LinCA and supporting care providers across Lincolnshire and the wider sector.

Facing Workforce or Leadership Challenges?

Delphi supports care providers with recruitment, interim leadership, operational improvement, quality assurance, CQC inspection readiness, compliance and turnaround support.

If your organisation is experiencing a management vacancy, workforce pressure or wider operational challenge, speak to our team about your current priorities and where additional support may help.
