Ken Buxton
Director of Strategic Occupancy & Growth
Ken brings more than 20 years’ experience across health and social care, having worked within brain injury, mental health, residential, inpatient and older people’s care services.
His career has progressed from Carer through to Registered Manager, alongside roles in Quality Assurance & Innovation, Care Management and senior leadership. This breadth of experience gives Ken a strong understanding of both frontline service delivery and the leadership, governance and operational systems required to support high-quality care.
As a Quality Assurance & Innovations Lead, Ken contributed to achieving CQC Outstanding ratings across all key areas on two consecutive occasions. He later maintained a Good rating while working as a Registered Manager. He is particularly passionate about quality, continuous improvement and achieving positive outcomes for the people services support.
Ken holds a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management and brings extensive experience across leadership, compliance, service development and innovation.
