Debbie Richens is an experienced adult social care professional with more than 30 years’ experience across adult social care management, regional and operational leadership, service development and regulatory compliance.
As a former Registered Manager, Debbie brings first-hand experience of managing services, leading service turnarounds, developing award-winning care provision and supporting providers to understand what good practice looks like in practice.
Her approach is grounded in operational reality. Debbie looks beyond policies and paperwork to understand what people actually experience, what staff understand, and whether good practice is genuinely embedded in day-to-day care.
This practical perspective supports her work across inspections, assurance and service improvement, helping providers identify gaps, strengthen practice and build greater confidence in the quality of their services.
