Adrian Cavendish

Adrian Cavendish is an experienced and outcome-focused senior quality and compliance professional with more than 20 years’ expertise across regulatory compliance, quality assurance and improvement, performance management, consultancy and commissioning.
He has a strong track record of leading cross-functional teams, managing complex audits, inspections and investigations, and supporting organisations through continuous improvement and positive change. Adrian is also recognised for his communication, stakeholder engagement, relationship management and mentoring skills.
His regulatory experience includes six years working as an operational Care Quality Commission Inspector across a wide range of sectors, alongside dedicated CQC policy, strategy, quality assurance and quality improvement roles. Adrian has also carried out investigations for the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman.
As a formally qualified and experienced project manager, Adrian brings a structured approach to navigating complexity and delivering meaningful change. He is educated to Master’s degree level in health and social science subjects, is PRINCE2 qualified, and holds a range of qualifications across healthcare quality, audit and assurance, and corporate governance.
Adrian is also a C-CAF Accredited Consultant (#100145) and has extensive experience coaching individuals and teams to improve performance and outcomes.
He is passionate about working collaboratively and supportively, building positive relationships and helping teams translate improvement priorities into practical, sustainable change.
