As demand for our specialist support continues to grow, we are looking to build our network of experienced interim managers, turnaround specialists, regulatory consultants and senior care professionals.

What We’re Looking For
Experienced Care Professionals
We are looking for senior professionals with experience across adult services, children’s services, operations, quality, governance, compliance or specialist consultancy.
Practical Turnaround Specialists
We are interested in professionals who can support providers through complex situations, including inspection concerns, service recovery, safeguarding risks and operational challenges.
Confident Interim Leaders
You should be able to step into services that need temporary leadership, management cover, stabilisation, improvement planning or additional senior support.
Regulatory Understanding
You should have a strong understanding of CQC, Ofsted or wider regulatory expectations, with the ability to provide calm, practical and credible support.
Our Three Main Areas of Work
When we match consultants to projects, we aim to align each person’s experience with the needs of the provider. Our work typically falls into three main areas:
Reactive Support
Urgent support where a provider needs experienced leadership, specialist input or regulatory response quickly.
This may include crisis support, interim management cover, CQC or Ofsted response, safeguarding concerns, enforcement support, service stabilisation or urgent improvement planning.
Proactive Support
Planned support to help providers strengthen quality, governance, leadership and inspection readiness.
This may include mock inspections, quality audits, governance reviews, Regulation 44 or Regulation 45 support, evidence preparation, leadership mentoring and compliance improvement.
Value-Add Support
Specialist support designed to improve systems, oversight, performance and long-term service resilience.
This may include policy reviews, operational improvement, head office governance, due diligence, service improvement projects, leadership structure reviews and wider consultancy support.
We are looking for individuals to work with Delphi on a freelance contractor basis, with previous experience including:
- Interim Registered Managers
- Turnaround Managers
- Consultants
- Senior Managers
- Responsible Individuals
- Regional or Operations Managers
- Quality, governance or compliance specialists
- CQC or Ofsted-related experience that can be evidenced
- Experience supporting services through improvement, inspection or regulatory challenge
Exclusivity with Delphi is not always required, provided there is no conflict of interest.
Consultants can be based anywhere in England, but a driving licence and the ability to travel are important, as some assignments require on-site support.
