CQC hosting webinar on monitoring and prioritising inspections.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is hosting a webinar next week on how it is currently monitoring and prioritising inspections.
The one-hour webinar, set to take place on September 20 at 3pm, is aimed at providers and professionals who work in adult social care, organisations who represent them and other stakeholders.
It will be led by Sue Howard, deputy chief inspector of Adult Social Care at the CQC, and there will be time to answer questions from delegates.
The webinar comes after the CQC updated providers on how it is making changes to how it regulates.
In July, the regulator introduced its monitoring approach to improve its ability to monitor risk; bring information together in one place for inspection teams, presented in a way that supports inspectors with their decision making; and test elements of how the CQC wants to work in the future, including how it provides a more up-to-date view of risk for people who use services.
