Job Details

Due to rapid growth, Delphi Care Solutions Task Force team are looking for quality and passionate health and social care professionals, to share their skills and knowledge with health and social care providers. We are seeking highly seasoned and experienced candidates as CIS (Care Inspectorate Scotland) Consultants who will play a key role in providing consultancy services to healthcare organisations to ensure compliance with CIS regulations and standards for all health and social care sectors, including GPs, Hospitals, Domiciliary Care services, etc, within Scotland. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to assess current practices, identify areas for improvement, and develop tailored strategies to enhance quality of care and regulatory compliance. This role requires a deep understanding of CIS regulations, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

In this amazing role, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of healthcare organisations compliance with CIS regulations and standards, including on-site inspections and audits.
  • Preparing detailed reports and documentation summarising findings, recommendations, and progress towards achieving compliance goals.
  • Developing and implementing customised action plans and strategies to address identified deficiencies and improve overall quality of care
  • Analysing data, documentation, and feedback to identify areas of non-compliance or improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clinical staff, and regulatory bodies, to drive continuous improvement in quality and compliance.
  • Providing expert guidance and support to healthcare organisations in preparing for CIS inspections, including mock inspections and readiness assessments.
  • CIS registration for healthcare organisations, ensuring all necessary documentation, policies, and procedures are in place and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Staying abreast of changes in CIS regulations, policies, and procedures, and ensure that clients are informed and prepared to meet requirements.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing support and guidance on quality and compliance matters related to CIS registration.

About You

As a CIS Consultant, you will be a highly organised individual, able to assess current practices and identify areas for improvement in an efficient way within our exciting and fast-paced projects. You must possess the ability to effectively work both on your own and as part of a team and hold good verbal and written communication skills. You will be able to work under pressure, be responsible and able to adapt quickly to changing requirements. You must be analytical, possess the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, make decisions in line with what you deem is achievable, and thereafter deliver it.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, nursing, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of CIS consultancy experience working in healthcare quality management, regulatory compliance, or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of CIS regulations, standards, and inspection processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends and patterns.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and drive organizational change.
  • Access to own vehicle with full UK driving licence
  • DBS registered with the rolling update system
